Mercedes-Benz NXT Icons as digital collectibles are digital re-interpretations of Mercedes-Benz's most iconic designs. The design of this card is based on the Maybach Landaulet:
At the Dubai Motor Show 2007, Maybach presented an extraordinary automotive masterpiece based on the world's most powerful series-produced chauffeur-driven saloon. Maybach revived the myth of the Landaulet and presented the Maybach Landaulet, a study of exclusive luxury vehicles. In keeping with the tradition of exclusive Landaulets, the roof can be opened completely in the rear, while it remains closed in the chauffeur's compartment. When opened, the roof folds up and rests on the parcel shelf. Passengers enjoy their place in the sun on opulent rear reclining seats upholstered in fine Grand Nappa leather, traveling in a luxurious environment designed with high stylistic standards. In autumn 2008, the first hand-built production model was delivered to the first customer. A total of 21 Landaulets, handcrafted exclusively to customer specifications, were built in the Maybach Manufaktur.
