Many women joined the military due to a sense of patriotism or a desire to protect those in need. Lusii, while she did join the military, was not one of those people. At the age of 16, Lusii was sent to a military school as her parents were no longer willing to tolerate her outbursts of rage and violence that would seem to erupt with very little provocation. Due to her aggressive nature, she had a very difficult time making friends, however, despite her insults and negativity, she never could seem to get rid of the smile on one particular girl, Kara, which eventually led to a genuine friendship between the two. At the time of the outbreak, Lusii was confined to her own small room as a reprimand for having a violent outburst against a commanding military officer, when he refused to treat her as equal to the other men in the squad. While it didn’t work out the best for her at that moment, it ultimately was what saved her life as she could do nothing but watch through the barred window as all of her comrades were ripping each other to shreds through the mutation process. When she was found by General Vor, after a surveillance mission led by the Vortex Unit, she was thin and frail, and could hardly stand by herself, but her eyes were alive with a burning fire and rage that kept her alive the many days she was left stranded, and developed an intense hatred and rage for the zombies. It was said that when she got her strength back, the first zombie she saw caused her to go into a mad fit of hysteria and some even claim that when she is in that state, zombies actually begin to run away, from HER.
