Several years ago my wife's Grandfather decided he would retire from farming. What happened next caught many in the family off guard. He cut down trees that didn't need to be cut. They had been there since before his father owned the farm all those decades ago. Then instead of anything practical, he had the barn burned to the ground. Then sold every single piece of equipment and plowed Grandma's garden under. Then the two of them sat down on the couch. I can only assume to wait to die. This is who Putin is, he is an old man burning down his farm as he prepares to die, and he is going to take the Russian people with him. The Russian Federation is the barn. A memory of what was once the great and powerful Soviet Union. This is why I painted this, on cardboard, while depressed and worried about Russia's behavior. I now am just sad for the Russian people. They die for nothing more than an old man's self imposed retirement. Once this is purchased. I will destroy the painting. JMS aka Deadfluffy
