**Each one of these 1/1 NFTs (15 in the series total) comes with a high-resolution digital image and a unique 20 in x 24 in signed type C print shipped to the winner of the original auction (please contact me and include a shipping address in case you'd like to receive a print).** Photo/Synthesis is a series of analog contact prints (photograms) created in a traditional color darkroom by arranging man-made (fabric scraps, plastic) and organic (plants, seeds) materials, often found at various sites. Remixing shapes of the natural world with emerging geometric patterns taught me about the dynamics of collaboration and chance, order and chaos. Indeed, we now live in the world of dichotomies, and I was interested in testing some of them in my work: micro and macro, light and darkness, wholeness and fragmentation, live organic matter and emptiness of the cosmos.
