After a few months of nude shoots, I became more confident to put my work out to the public. I’ve learnt a ton and started attracting new models. I really wanted to shoot outdoors where nature could serve as inspiration. It was still winter though...
As luck would have it, I met up with a model who was willing to jump into some icy water. A hike up Table Mountain served as a warm up and gave us time to get acquainted and comfortable in each other’s company. At the dams we found a secluded spot for her to get undressed.
I only had to put my legs in the water, while she, at times, was fully immersed. She managed to spend about 20 minutes in the water, before we agreed that it was not worth risking hypothermia to get more photos!
Thanks to warm clothes and a scenic descent we warmed up fast. I was also very happy with the few photos that I got. It’s truly something beautiful being out in nature capturing moments like these.
