Bhutan, part of the amazing lands located at the eastern edge of the Himalayas, is home to one of the most impressive mountain roads - the Dochula Pass. This beautiful place, sitting 3,100 meters high, offers one of the most stunning views over the snowy mountaintops of the Himalayas, especially on clear winter days. Photographers love it thanks to the spectacular scenery that unfolds before their eyes and allows them to create astounding shots. The 108 commemorative chortens were built in 2004 by Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuk, the eldest Queen Mother of Bhutan.
