Temporary Passage New Media Cristian Armenta 2023 At first glance, we find ingenious mixtures of chaos and order, that is, aesthetic equilibriums retouched of silhouettes with childhood reminiscences, patterns of curved, square or amorphous lines and a delirious palette with shades of blue, magenta and orange simulating the shadows of a DNA sequence... Why? Because even if I move through the physical and digital world, we keep our essence, my art style. The world has been under the chaos and the uncertainty for the last 3 years. Change made me to adapt to the new world.... Resilience. During the most critical time I’ve forced myself to continue creating art and exploring new styles until I started doing digital art. It took me a lot of effort to take that step from producing physical art in order to make digital art as NFT’s along with Saatchi Art projects. In the work “Temporary Passage”, created using digital techniques, I explain how was the process from coming from the physical art to the digital art for and always holding my art style, as it can be seen in the central character carrying one of my paintings, traveling on time towards the Metaverse.
