Poem:
the equinox expands my backpack
I look behind
to the weath of nightfall
starlight divine
to the sleepy soprano
robin who knew
the false starts
in warm winter days
weren't for blooms
attracting attacks
from the pollen-backs
from the cozy noses
tucked in tidy shacks
we go as it were
with nature sleeping
we wake in our dreams
and nuture is seeking
for the balance of days
for the time where we say
"the sun and moon beams
have found a reckoning"
