描述
This piece is an expression of the vulnerability of the Human heart, to fall prey to those things which at first glance appear to give us solace and an escape, sometimes even seeming divine. It symbolises how fragile and often easily deceived our hearts can be, when we desire to see someone or something as what we hope they could be, instead of what they truly are.
The inspiration came from a song titled "The good in me" by singer Jon bellion, which narrates the story of a man, trying to escape being hunted for the good in him.
My approach to the piece, was to depict the post-scene of that hunt, with a figure whom in his final moments comes to the slow and tragic realisation that all along he was the prey of this otherwise angelic presence which he sought to have intimacy with.
